Why identities stay protected until a deal closes
Share with permission protects both sides: buyers are not flooded with unsolicited offers, and suppliers do not expose their customer relationships.
The problem with open directories
When contact details are public, buyers receive volumes of unsolicited offers and suppliers compete for attention rather than on fit. Neither side gets a better outcome.
Offport’s approach
In the Offport platform, buyer and seller identities remain masked through discovery, matching and negotiation. Only non-identifying information needed to evaluate fit is shared. Full identities are disclosed when both parties explicitly accept the final price and key terms.
The Offport team shares non-identifying details first and introduces parties only when both agree.
What it means
- Your details are not published.
- Introductions are deliberate, and both sides consent.
Limitations
- Identities and introductions depend on permission from both parties.
