Trade Intelligence

Know what is happening in global trade.

Before deciding what to do. Trade information is useful when its source, date and coverage are clear.
Workflow: Trade tools

Sources, dates and coverage help you judge trade information. The example below shows how to read them.

Trade information

Signals across the whole trade.

Useful market information helps you decide what to buy, where to sell and which offer to consider.
  • 01

    Trade activity

Import and export flows by product and country, from customs and official sources where licensed.

  • 02

    Market movements

How demand, supply and competing origins shift over time — with the period each figure covers.

  • 03

    Commodity signals

Product-level context: specifications, grades, seasonality and price ranges with clear sources.

  • 04

    Buyer activity

Where demand exists, presented without exposing individual buyers and only where data rights allow.

  • 05

    Supplier activity

What suppliers can provide, where they have shipped and what has been verified.

  • 06

    Trade routes

Origin-to-destination views that bring requirements, supply and documentation needs together.

  • 07

    Historical signals

How a market behaved before, so today’s figure has context — clearly dated.

  • 08

    Outcome learning

In time, completed trades inform future intelligence, within permission rules.

Evidence model

The source, the date, the full picture.

A figure without its evidence is an opinion. Every figure in Offport is designed to carry five things.

Ground rules

What Offport intelligence will never do.

  • No invented figures

If licensed evidence does not exist, the figure is shown as unavailable — not estimated.

  • Ranges, not points

Prices appear as ranges with their basis and date, never as a single number or a recommendation.

  • Conflicts shown

When two sources disagree, both are shown with their sources.

  • Confidence from a method

Confidence is stated only when it comes from a stated method. Otherwise it is absent.

  • No fake coverage

Coverage is stated per market. Offport will not imply global data it does not hold.

  • AI with authorised data only

AI explanations use only data Offport is authorised to use, and say so.
